Diretrizes para Autores
JRE OnLine publishes academic papers on Journalism Theory, Journalism Research, Journalism Education and Journalism Criticism.
JRE OnLine accepts texts after public Call For Papers.
Articles submitted to JRE OnLine must be written in Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.5 cm, contain from 30 000 to 40 000 characters (spaces included in this calculation, the references and notes)
1 General Guidelines
The submitted paper must be of own intellectual authorship. The author must correctly identify the data, used references and give credit to the author or source of information consulted. It must also declare that all material included in their work is copyright free and possible litigation of any order or complaint related to intellectual property rights are your responsibility, so that relieve the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Journalism (SBPJor ), JRE, the Journal and the editors of the same from all liability on the materials presented.
For submission, the author should use only the electronics journal system: http://jre.sbpjor.org.br/
The JRE Online accepts submissions in Portuguese / Spanish / English or French. The author who submits a paper undertakes to send the expanded abstract in English fifteen (15) days of the communication of acceptance by the JRE Online, if the article is approved without changes. If the approval is conditioned to changes in the text , the author must provide the abstract within fifteen (15) days after approval of the new version by the editors.
2 Articles must be submitted with the following:
Title and subtitle: In English.
Abstract: The articles must be accompanied by an expanded abstract (containing the theme, objectives, methodology and the main conclusion) in English.
Keywords: Between three (3) and five (5) keywords in English.
- Tables, figures, photos and illustrations should have a good quality and high resolution and numbered sequentially by category and clearly identified (Examples: Figure 1, Figure 2, Table 1, Table 2, etc.);
- A section of References in alphabetical order should follow the text; use the style of APA.
The authors identifying information must be entered in the respective fields of the electronic system, when submitting the text, and should not be included in the article text. In the OJS system (s) author (s) must (m) provide a resume with maximum degree obtained, institutional affiliation, city, country, e-mail and other relevant data.
Permissions copyright: authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permission to reproduce any quotation, illustration or photograph previously published elsewhere or have been produced by persons other than the author.
If the text come to be approved for publication, the author (s) (s) signs (m) statement - in accordance with the model set - transferring the copyright to the journal and authorizing the Brazilian Journalism Research to publish it by in print, electronic, CDRom and / or internet or other known means.
The manuscripts must follow JRE OnLine template, available.

The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF.
- The text is in Times New Roman 12, space 1.5; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); figures and tables areinserted in the text, not the end of the document as attachments..
- URLs for the references have been informed
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, on page About the Journal.
- The instructions available in Ensuring blind evaluation by peers were followed.
