Foco e Escopo
JRE OnLine is an annual, scientific journal published by Journalism Research and Education Section (JRE) of IAMCR and the Brazilian Journalism Researchers Association (SBPJor). Both entities are dedicated to theory and research on journalism (both theoretical and empirical work). The JRE OnLine aims to be a link between researchers organized or not by the JRE, showing the diversity of research on Journalism and seeks to contribute to creating and strengthening national and international research networks on journalism. The journal is edited in English, Portuguese, Spanish or French and receive articles with specific call for papers, from researchers around the world that devote theirs work to research Journalism and Journalism Education.

Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares
JRE OnLine is a open source publication, with a peer review process of evaluation. The articles are initially evaluated by the Editorial Board to verify if their are suitable to the journal. Those inaccordance with the submission rules are referred for evaluation of two ad hoc reviewers in a blind process and, in case of divergence, to a third party. The Editorial Board is responsable to the final acceptance of articles, considering the adequacy of the texts suggested to the authors.
